Well, other than the hilarious misrecognition of the kitten as a rat, you can understand why this stray kitten would choose such a well equipped and caring house to call its own. Boone sounds like he lives the extra good feline life, who has ever heard of a kibble bowl being kept around just in case their cat wanted to round out a meal? That is some serious feline devotion in our books.

Well, yeah, why would this kitten choose to leave a home that it to begin with had a pretty good idea was a safe and comfy space to post up in. And now having had a good few hours to assess the area and see that this house is purrfectly set up for a kitten to crash in, he will likely never leave. And you really cannot blame him, he has likely been through the thick of it in his short life and dang, he deserves a little peace, quite and love.

Stray kitten ‘Cy-Mon’, mistaken for rat, stages high-speed home invasion, winning the hearts of his new pawrents and with time his feline sibling aswell: ‘Eventually, we reached the state of two kitties curled up together in the same chair’
Cat children come to us in many different ways. Most are unexpected, using the element of surprise to engrain themselves into our lives and souls, but some are much more surprising than others. And that is most certainly the case with the kitten in this story who used its cuteness, charms and tiny body to fully embed itself into the home of a cat loving couple and their middle aged feline fur baby. When they initially crossed paths the pawrents perceived the skinny kitten to actually be a rat, but upon hearing its unfamiliar meows realized they had a cat on their hands.
Taking pity on the small creature they opened their door and their hearts offering the stray some food in the hopes that it would accept their gracious offer and move on. Raising one cat child is tough enough, you do not need to add another mouth to shout at you when you forget to feed it. But this kitten had other plans, and while it chomped down on the bowl of kibble it was given it laid eyes upon the house it was about to invade. And when its new pawrent was not looking it made a run for it…
